How to Make a Scrunchie

Scrunchies - the 80's and 90's favourite hair accessories are back with a vengeance. They've been seen on the heads of celebs Bella Hadid, Selina Gomez, J Lo and Margot Robbie apparently kept a few from her glorious wardrobe in "I Tonya". Balenciaga even offer a designer $225 branded leather scrunchie for more labelled fashion types.

What I love about the scrunchie:

1. It's good for your hair - no snagged elastic ripping your hair out.
2. Co-ordinate your look - team your shoes and your scrunchie and win at accessorising an otherwise normcore outfit.
3. Get the print on - feeling a floral Laura Ashley girl but always wear jeans and a jumper - you can channel your inner boho princess without feeling like you're going to float away.
4. Get all the hairstyles - messy bun, twisted pony, fishtail plait can be yours with a few nimble finger twiddles.
5. And of course - a snazzy bangle when you just need to swish and flick those long locks down and save it for later.

I've just loaded a few scrunchies to my site here - but if you want to learn how to make your own here's some handy instructions and a step-by-step guide.
