Blue Check Patchwork Cotton Collector Dress - Size S

The Collector Dress is perfect for everyday wear. The oversize shape and easy pull on style can be worn loose or flowing, styled and belted or layered with knitwear and boots for cooler days.

The wonderful nature of the Collector Dress is that it can be made from a collection of different fabrics and garments. This simple two piece dress has a top with underbust seam from which flows a wide gathered skirt. Sometimes the top is made from a vintage shirt, or if I'm using the drafted pattern, it will have a one-piece top with a cap sleeve, perfect for all year round wear. And of course those hidden side-seam pockets for hiding all your collected treasures.

Blue & Red Check Patchwork Cotton, Size S, 8-10
This dress is handmade using a quality blue and white checked cotton shirt re-cut to my own bespoke pattern. The skirt for this dress is made from a roll of vintage 80's cotton lawn which I was told on purchase was a Liberty London printed fabric. This midweight cotton fabric is superb quality and has a kitsch American quilt style patchwork with animals and pattern details. Pocket linings are gingham to match the top of the dress. A great use of some truly fabulous original fabric to create this one-of-a-kind standout dress.

All Sizes Are Australian. Measurements are approximate. 
Check Individual Dresses for accurate measurements.
Collector Dresses have a 4-5cm deep hem allowance so can be lengthened if necessary.

To work out your size, measure around the body and compare with size chart.
As these are the actual dress sizes, not your body measurements you will need to work out which size bracket you fit into. For a comfortable fit, add 5-10cm on top of your own round body measurements.

Example:
Angie measures 120cm around bust and likes a relaxed fit. Although the XL dress would fit, as the collector dress has no stretch and 4cm is not a lot of room for her active lifestyle so she would size up to the XXL. An XXXL size would be very oversize but also another wearable option. So when shopping she can choose between XL, XXL and XXL depending how she wants the dress to look.
